General event regulations

  • If you do not agree to these rules when registering (and do not agree to the registration conditions), you will not be able to participate in TanzBildung events.
  • The information in the program is subject to change without notice. Events or program items may be changed or canceled due to weather, illness, or external circumstances.
  • Please do not take photos or videos in general without contacting TanzBildung to ensure that TanzBildung adheres to its privacy policy. Please do not record classes without asking the instructors and participants. Filming and photographing social dances and free training is generally permitted – but do not use flash! You may also film other parts of the events – but please ask the people you wish to film for permission.
  • Tickets are non-refundable. Tickets can be transferred to another person with the organizer's approval. Instructions and confirmation for ticket transfers can be obtained from TanzBildung (kontakt@tanzbildung.info).
  • Smoking is prohibited indoors. There are designated smoking areas outside the buildings; please only use these areas for smoking.
  • TanzBildung cannot accept responsibility for your valuables, property, or any possible bodily injuries. There is always a risk of injury at dance events; it is your own responsibility and decision to dance during our event. Do your best to be safe—for yourself and others!
  • Please only enter the classrooms wearing appropriate indoor shoes; high heels or shoes that could stain the floor are not permitted. Please note that you are responsible for any damage caused by wearing inappropriate shoes. Please be careful not to bring wet dirt into the classrooms.
  • Lost and found items will be kept for four weeks after the event. After that, any remaining items will be disposed of or donated to charity.
  • The personal information you provide during registration will not be shared with third parties under any circumstances, except for use in shared documents and programs (within the event organization). Your data will be stored on computers, hard drives, and servers owned or used by the event organizers and TanzBildung staff.
  • The organizers will contact you exclusively regarding the event. Direct contact will primarily be via email, as we will provide you with relevant information about the event and follow up on your registration. Please ensure you add our email address (kontakt@tanzbildung) to your whitelist and/or personal address book to prevent our emails from ending up in your spam filter. The organizers cannot be held responsible for the integrity and privacy of email messages, as they are forwarded by email servers over the Internet.
  • If we cannot reach you by email, we may send you text messages or call you if we need information or believe you have missed an important event-related email.
  • TanzBildung is led by Friederike Reif. Individual tasks can be delegated to freelancers.
